This is volume nine of the nine volume series of the collected plays of Bertolt Brecht. Our library has nine volumes of this series. Volume 8 precedes this volume. The series consists of translations of Brecht's famed plays including translations of 'The Threepenny Opera, his most famous work written with the likes of Kurt Weill. 'The Caucasian Chalk Circle' is also included in addition to his other notable plays. Known for his work in theatre criticism, particularly Epic Theatre, Brecht was also a playwright and poet.
