520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. "The marginal productivity theory of income distribution has long been the object of criticism. Some of the criticism, as I argue in this essay, has been wrong-headed and irrelevant, but quite enough remains to cast serious doubts on the validity of 'accepted' distribution theory. In this essay I have tried to indicate the nature of the valid criticisms, though I have avoided their detailed repetition, and I have also tried to reformulate that part of distribution theory which relates to profits. My general interest in dynamic economics has led me to cast my views in a dynamic frame." - from the author's preface.
