This book features a part of his autobiography and discusses his personal life, his political life, and how they interescted -- especially amongst, labor battles and strikes, especially the Seattle General Strike of 1919 and the 1921 Appalachia Coal Miner's Strike. His life, his studies, and his political involvement as an activist and a reporter helped to shape and document labor history. |
